Musée des Abénakis
  • Located on the banks of the Saint-François River, 10 km from Lac Saint-Pierre, the museum offers you a chance to see an accurate image of a nation.
  • The permanent exhibit on the Wabanaki, the people of the dawn, takes you into the cultural and spiritual universe of the Abenaki.
    Objects, stories and images reflect the rich traditions perpetuated through the generations to present.
  • Come see our multimedia show The Creation Legend,
  • Visit our temporary exhibits, the churches, and the Odanak Chapel.
  • Traditional meals and special packages are available for groups on reservation.
  • Discover this faithful image of a nation in the first Amerindian museum in Québec, completely renovated, the museum provides a unique and enriching experience of history.

    Come learn about the Abenaki civilization. Browse through the rich and intriguing history: from the legend of its creation through to today.
