Grace Island Bay is one of the region’s most popular destinations. Whether you come for a swim, wildlife observation, or simply to enjoy a moment of tranquility, this location offers a unique natural panorama. The bay is accessed through the Île aux Corbeaux channel, taking care to remain in the centre of the narrow channel upon entry. Water depth is very safe across most of the bay. However, if you choose to spend the night, be sure to allow enough anchor line, as the bay’s bottom is covered with a thick layer of aquatic vegetation that can prevent the anchor from gripping securely. Great Blue Herons are abundant here and can often be seen feeding among the emergent vegetation along the shoreline.
