The 49th WestFeria Gymkhana Finals, organized by the Québec Gymkhana Championship and sanctioned by Cheval Québec, mark the end of the Gymkhana competition season. This exciting equestrian sport originated from traditional horse games, where speed is the ultimate challenge. Events include barrel racing, pole bending (slalom), rescue race, and rider exchange, among others. This interregional championship brings together 12 regions and nearly 350 riders. Each association affiliated with Cheval Québec selects its top eligible riders to represent their region as a team, competing for the prestigious Roger Hamelin Trophy, awarded to the championship region.
