A professional hockey player who has played for several NHL teams, Nicolas Aubé-Kubel grew up in Sorel-Tracy, where he first laced up his skates. A hardworking and passionate athlete, he climbed the ranks all the way to hoisting the Stanley Cup in 2022 with the Colorado Avalanche — an achievement that fills the entire region with pride. Despite a busy career and life in major cities, Nicolas often returns to Sorel-Tracy to reconnect with loved ones… and to revisit his favorite local spots. The Sorel-Tracy region follows his journey with admiration and remains immensely proud of one of its greatest ambassadors.
